After four years, we are off the road.

The past year has been a whirlwind, with shoots in 14 states. Highlights include: the 1st annual Pheasant Forecast in Huron South Dakota, where a live pheasant was released under the giant statue to predict the hunting season's success; the party for Albert the Bull's 40th Birthday in Audubon, Iowa (where Albert actually blew out his own candle!); and the sighting of White Cloud, the worlds only known albino buffalo, under the World's Largest Buffalo in Jamestown, North Dakota.

We also hit countless festivals, including Egg Days in Winlock, Washington; the Egg Festival in Mentone, Indiana; the Apple Festival in Winchester, Virginia; the Big Red Apple in Cornelia, Georgia, the Pismo Beach, California Clam Festival; the Freer, Texas Rattlesnake Roundup; the Kirkland's Warbler Festival in Mio, Michigan; and Breakfast Under the Cow in New Salem, North Dakota.

Special mention should be made of our two trips to Soap Lake, Washington, the future home of the World's Largest Lava Lamp. After years of planning, this tiny city in eastern Washington got their World's Largest! Or, we should say, four trucks of it. The 50-foot, three-dimensional lava lamp sign in Times Square was donated to Soap Lake, and the pieces arrived on four flatbeds in February. Our cameras were rolling for the dismantling and for the arrival on the other side of the country.

In August 2007 we had our final shoot in Soap Lake, Washington. Check back for post-production updates soon.
